Getting ready for a school trip

Are you going on a school trip next week? Here are some tips to help you pack.

Before you buy new walking boots, always (1) them on in the shop to see how they look and if they fit. Next, plan your bag carefully. Don't (2) up your rucksack with clothes that you will never wear.

Think about the weather. If it is hot, you will want to (3) off your jumper quickly, so choose one that is easy to remove. When you write your packing list, don't (4) out the small things, like a toothbrush or a torch. In the evening it can get cold, so (5) on a warm coat before you go for a walk.

Get ready for the school party

Your school party is on Saturday, and you want to look your best! Here are some ideas.

Costumes for the school play

Our drama club is preparing a play, and we need costumes! Here is how we do it.

Starting at a new school
